The Christian Community Bible, also known as the Biblia Latinoamericana in Spanish, is a collection of translations of the Bible that aim to be accessible to Christian communities in the Third World. It originated with the Biblia Latinoamericana that Bernardo Hurault began writing in Chile in 1960, including his own homilies and issues raised in his own congregation. Originally published in 1971 as La Biblia de Nuestro Pueblo or La Nueva Biblia - Edición Pastoral para Latinoamérica, subsequent versions were coordinated by the Pastoral Bible Foundation and Claretian Communications.
